Q. How does NRL find me a lawyer?

Answer:

We don’t choose or allocate you a lawyer.

Once you have an account with us you will be able to file a case with us.

You will need to enter the details of all of the parties involved.

These details are automatically sent to the lawyers in your nominated city and the lawyers check to see if there are any conflicts of interest which would prohibit them from representing you.

You are sent the details of the first lawyer who checks your information and responds to us that they are willing and able to act. Our system takes care of all of this and we have no involvement in any selection process.

You will receive an email from us informing you that your case has been accepted. When you log back into our system and inspect your case you will see the contact details of the lawyer who has "accepted" your case and who is willing to spend an hour with you discussing your case.

It is up to you to contact them to arrange your first meeting.
